With Father's Day only two weeks away I started looking for a cute homemade gift idea that my 2-year-old could help me make. Not surprisingly, I found a super cute and relatively easy idea! I've renamed it the "I love you card," and it is the perfect gift for dad to carry in his wallet and take out and look at whenever he is missing his little pee wee.
What You'll Need:
business card or card stock
3.25 in. x 2 in. or smaller picture of child or mommy and child
glue stick or double-sided tape
stickers
markers, colored pencils, and/or crayons
1. Obtain a business card, preferably of light color, or cut a card using card stock. If you cut use these dimensions: 3.30 in. x 2 in., so the card will fit nicely in a wallet.
2. Strategically glue the picture to cover the most verbiage on the business card, or if using blank paper glue wherever you or your child want.
3. By the picture write the title of the card: "I Love You Card." Then go at it with your little one decorating the rest with stickers, hearts, happy faces, and other small drawings. Daddy is sure to love it!
